CHAGA

Inonotus Obliquus

Chaga known as King of Mushrooms, is an immune system booster and cell regenerator. In Siberia, Chaga is named "Gift of God," China calls it "King of Plants," and in Japan, it's described as "Diamond of the Forest." It resembles burnt charcoal, grows on most species of birch trees and is found in the forests of the earth's northern hemisphere. An important part of nature, Chaga helps to rejuvenate the forest floor with vital nutrients. Since the 16th century, Chaga has been used in holistic culture across the globe as an ancient remedy in Europe, Canada, and Russia to benefit the body's physical and mental well being. Olympic athletes have used Chaga to help increase strength and endurance.

Containing one of the highest amounts of anti-oxidant compounds, Chaga is an adaptogen, a substance which modifies the human body's response to stress. Many valuable nutrients include superoxide dismutase (SOD), betulinic acid, polysaccharides, beta-glucans, sterols and essential vitamins & minerals that can potentially cause unhealthy cells to self destruct, leaving good cells to flourish. Of all foods in the world, Chaga contains the most amount of natural melanin which is the main pigment of human skin, hair, retina of the eye and neurons within the brain stem. Chaga is categorized as food by the FDA (Food and Drug Administration) and recognized as safe by the World Health Organization with no known side effects or toxicity.
